Dearest Scholar,
"Objects in the mirror are closer than they appear."
The same could be said about this semester's exams. I think you'll agree with me that the semester is looking like a set-up, with the myriad of extracurricular and social activities. I know you might not be prepared for this semester's exams, but it's better late than never.
It's time to get your priorities right. Now is the set time to focus on your academics, because that's exactly what you are in school for. This is not to scare you or cause you to be anxious. Instead, confront your fears by dusting off your books and inviting the Holy Spirit to help you start reading today—not tomorrow or during the lecture-free week, but today!
It's important to come to the consciousness that the Holy Spirit is not a magician. He will only remind you of what you have learned and studied. However, He will nudge you to study exactly what you should be studying. It's safe to say that the Holy Spirit is our greatest study buddy!
But it's left to you to choose, and it's expected of you to choose the way of the Lord—the way of wisdom.
So, when the glory comes, there'll be no words to say except that, indeed, the Lord alone helped you. Not your own strength, formation, expo, cramming, or examination malpractice, but the Father who sent the Holy Spirit to be with you. He will be your Helper, teaching you all things and helping you remember everything (John 14:26).
Walk in this consciousness, study hard, pray harder, and remember that the Holy Spirit is your Helper. You've got this, Scholar! Let's finish strong!
